Miami, September 15, 2025. The international Americas Food & Beverage Show 2025, held September 10–12 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, witnessed Spain’s historic participation as “Country of Honor.” For the first time, Spain brought together 68 exhibiting companies—50 specialized in food, 15 in beverages, and 3 in services—strengthening its position as one of the leading players in the global agri-food sector.
The Spain Pavilion, coordinated by the Spain-U.S. Chamber of Commerce for the sixth consecutive year, stood out both in the number and quality of exhibitors, consolidating Spain’s reputation as an international benchmark in the food and beverage market.
Diversity, excellence, and opportunity
Spain’s offering ranged from cheeses, olive oils, wines, and cured meats to gourmet innovations and cutting-edge products, showcasing the strength of protected designations of origin and the country’s agricultural tradition. Regions such as Castilla y León, Galicia, Almería, Valencia, Andalucía, and others offered tastings and presentations that attracted importers, distributors, and buyers from the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
Spain demonstrated its ability to adapt to international trends and respond with products that combine quality, innovation, and authenticity, reinforcing its image as a trusted partner in global trade. Spanish presence stood out particularly in a context marked by rising exports and tariff challenges, where the commitment to the U.S. market remains strong.

Business platform and growth
The Americas Food & Beverage Show 2025 brought together more than 12,000 attendees, over 900 exhibitors, and professionals from 120 countries. Spain seized this strategic opportunity to build business networks, foster partnerships, and enhance the visibility of the Spain Brand abroad. The recognition as “Country of Honor” highlights Spain’s leadership in innovation and its commitment to the sustainable growth of the international agri-food sector.
Recognition and institutional support
At the opening ceremony, diplomatic and business authorities, including Spain’s Consul General in Miami, Doña Belén Alfaro Hernández, and the Chamber’s President, Mónica Vázquez, emphasized the key role of Florida and Miami as a gateway for Spanish companies into the U.S.

Consul General Belén Alfaro noted that “Florida is a strategic bridge between Spain and the United States, and this pavilion reflects the strength of our economic and cultural ties.”
For her part, Mónica Vázquez expressed her pride in Spain being designated this year as “Country of Honor”, a recognition that —she said— “reflects the effort, quality, and commitment of our companies to the international market.” She also deeply thanked the Spanish exhibitors who trusted this fair as a strategic platform to gain access to the American market:
The Chamber’s President also praised the participation of regional groups such as the Junta de Castilla y León, the Chamber of Commerce of Almería, the Xunta de Galicia —through the Consellería do Mar and the Consellería do Medio Rural— and IVACE with companies from the Valencian Community, stressing that “their joint efforts are a clear demonstration of the strength of our regions when united under the same purpose: to conquer new opportunities in the American market.”
