Welcome to NOVAF, where we’re dedicated to making outdoor adventures accessible to everyone, especially those with reduced mobility. We are located in Chiclana de la Frontera, Cádiz and Miami, Florida, our mission is to break down barriers and ensure everyone can enjoy the great outdoors.
Our story began with a personal challenge. In 2006 Fernando Enríquez, CEO of the company, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Instead of letting the diagnosis hold m back, he decided to use his engineering skills to create products that make a real difference. And that’s how NOVAF was born.
Innovative Products for Better Mobility
NOVAF’s range of products is impressive and varied. The star of the show is the amphibious chair, which lets people move easily from land to water and also enjoy a dip. This chair is a game-changer for anyone who wants to enjoy the beach or water activities without hassle. We are very proud to provide it in three sizes, adult, children and XXL. All of NOVAF´s products are FDA-register, setting a high-quality standard.
But the innovation doesn’t stop there. NOVAF also makes amphibious crutches and rollators designed to handle all kinds of terrain, from sandy beaches to rough trails. The amphibious crutches offer stability in both wet and dry conditions, while the rollators make it easy to get around on challenging grounds. Another best seller is a kit that adapts a wheelchair to a bicycle.
Inclusion and accessibility are words that are at the heart of everything we do. Our range of products, which includes 4×4 Rollators and adaptive sun beach loungers, aims to make outdoor fun accessible to everyone, no matter their mobility issues.
Our products are made entirely in our workshop from the sketch and design to the production and of course the quality control. But NOVAF isn’t just about making products; it’s about making sure everyone can enjoy the freedom and joy of outdoor activities.
Big Moves in the US Market
We started with NOVAF ANDALUCIA 2007 S.L. and later opened a subsidiary company in Miami called NOVAF-USA LLC. Our products are vital for people with reduced mobility, which is why we believe the US market is on the rise. We recently joined the Walmart Marketplace, allowing us to reach over 150 million customers in North America. This is a huge step for us and shows just how much demand there is for our innovative products. We also have a strong presence in Mexico and several European countries, and our international reach is growing fast.
Furthermore, we’re constantly tweaking and improving our products, down to the smallest parts, to ensure they’re the best they can be. We have some exciting plans for the future. We’re getting ready to release a new set of products this year. These products will further boost mobility and independence for those with reduced mobility.
In 2010, NOVAF was honored with the Open Mind Award and also received the Creativity and Innovation Award promoted by Andalucía Emprende. Our CEO, Fernado Enríquez, was also awarded with the Key to Miami-Dade in 2019.
