Inside the Spain Pavilion at the Americas Food & Beverage Show 2026, where Spanish flavors, entrepreneurs and a little Mediterranean energy are taking over Miami Beach.

There are some business meetings that happen around conference tables. And then there are business meetings that happen over jamón, olive oil, cheese, wine, and whatever delicious Spanish product someone insists you absolutely have to try. We know which meeting we’d rather attend.

This September, a serious taste of Spain is landing in Miami as the Spain Pavilion returns to the Americas Food & Beverage Show, taking place September 14–16, 2026, at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Organized by the Spain-U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Pavilion will bring together 52 Spanish companies under one roof.

And while, yes, technically this is business, the Spain Pavilion makes a compelling argument that international commerce can be considerably more fun when food is involved.

52 Companies. One Pavilion. Come Hungry

The Americas Food & Beverage Show is no small affair. More than 10,000 industry attendees, 900+ exhibitors and representatives from 120+ countries are expected, creating a major B2B marketplace connecting companies, buyers, distributors and other players from across the food-and-beverage world. Right in the middle of it all: Spain.

The Spain Pavilion will feature 40 food producers, 10 wine and beverage companies and two service companies, showcasing just how broad Spain’s culinary footprint really is. And if your idea of Spanish food begins and ends with paella, prepare for an education. The lineup stretches across olive oil and olives, wine, beer, seafood, Iberian ham and charcuterie, cheese, preserves, honey, rice, spices and condiments, snacks, truffles, prepared foods and retail and foodservice solutions. In other words, this may be one of those occasions where “research” requires multiple tastings. We accept the responsibility.

But This Isn’t Just About What’s on the Plate

The food might get you through the door, but what makes the Spain Pavilion particularly interesting is the business story happening behind it.

Spanish companies at different stages of international expansion will be using Miami as a place to meet buyers, importers and distributors while exploring opportunities throughout the United States and the Americas. The Pavilion is designed to create conversations around everything from market entry and sourcing to distribution, innovation and international expansion.

That makes Miami an especially fitting host. The Pavilion positions the city as a strategic connection point between Spain, the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean.

And that story feels very Miami.

This is a city where languages, cultures, capital, ideas and people constantly cross paths. A Spanish company looking toward the Americas doesn’t just find a trade show here—it enters an international ecosystem.

Which means the question isn’t simply: What is Spain bringing to Miami? It’s also: What relationships could begin here?

Come for the Jamón. Stay for the Entrepreneurs

Behind every bottle, package, wheel of cheese and carefully sliced piece of charcuterie is something Miami Vibes finds equally interesting: a person with a story. There are producers preserving generations of tradition, companies rethinking how traditional Spanish products are presented to modern consumers, executives figuring out how to bring a successful European brand into the American market, and entrepreneurs looking at Miami and seeing a gateway to something much bigger. The Spain Pavilion was built to put those people into the conversation, with executives, producers and industry experts available for interviews throughout the event.

For us, that’s where things get especially interesting. Because food tells you quite a bit about a country. But the people building the businesses behind that food tell you where it’s going next.

Yes, There Will Be Cooking

Naturally, you cannot gather dozens of Spanish food and beverage companies in Miami Beach and expect everyone to behave like they’re attending an accounting convention.

There will be food, there will be tastings, and there will most definitely be live cooking. Even better, Chef Doreen Colondres is confirmed to take the stage for the Spain Pavilion’s cooking demonstrations. Known for her energetic, approachable philosophy that “the kitchen doesn’t bite,” Colondres is a Latin chef, food and wine expert, author and culinary personality whose cooking is inspired by travel, culture and the belief that great food should be as enjoyable to prepare as it is to eat. In other words, don’t expect a quiet cooking lesson.

The Pavilion’s schedule includes live cooking demonstrations from noon to 1 p.m. on all three days of the show, giving attendees a chance to experience Spanish products beyond the booth—and see what happens when those ingredients make their way into the hands of a chef. The Spain Pavilion’s official Opening Ceremony takes place Monday, September 14 at 10:10 a.m., followed by interview opportunities. Tuesday brings another major moment with the Spain Food Nation Summit Estados Unidos 2026, scheduled from 8:00 to 10:30 a.m.

So yes, you could spend three days talking about distribution channels and international trade. Or you could discuss distribution channels while Chef Doreen Colondres is turning some of Spain’s best ingredients into something you suddenly need to taste immediately.

We know which meeting we’re attending.

The Spain–Miami Connection Is Getting Interesting

For Miami Vibes, the Spain Pavilion represents something bigger than three days at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Miami has become a place where international companies, founders, investors and entrepreneurs increasingly intersect. The Pavilion offers a concentrated look at one piece of that global story: Spanish companies exploring how they can build relationships and opportunities throughout the Americas.

And the Spain-U.S. Chamber of Commerce sits at the center of that connection. The organization isn’t simply gathering products for display. Its role includes helping create commercial connections between Spanish companies and the U.S. and Americas markets—exactly the kind of cross-border relationship building that makes Miami’s international business community so fascinating.

Over the coming weeks, Miami Vibes will be exploring some of the people, companies and stories behind the Spain Pavilion, looking beyond what’s being served to discover who’s building, expanding and innovating behind the scenes.

Because somewhere between the olive oil, wine, seafood, truffles and jamón, there are deals being discussed, introductions being made and Spanish businesses potentially beginning their next chapter in the Americas.

And if doing our journalistic duty requires tasting a few things along the way?

We’ll make the sacrifice.

¡Nos vemos en el Spain Pavilion!
