Hernando Novoa serves as Senior Vice President of Branch Regional Sales at FirstBank, where he spearheads business banking initiatives across South Florida. In this role, Hernando oversees sales and operations for the bank’s branch network, driving revenue growth through strategic planning and execution aligned with FirstBank’s objectives.
He is responsible for setting sales targets, optimizing branch performance, and fostering collaboration across departments to deliver a seamless customer experience and operational excellence. Additionally, Hernando leads the Cash Management department, ensuring robust sales strategies across branch, commercial, and corporate segments.
Throughout his career, Hernando has held various positions including Assistant Branch Manager, Commercial and Residential Lender, Operations and Retail Manager including Central and South Florida regions.
Hernando holds a Business Management degree from Barry University and completed the Florida Bankers Association School of Banking at the University of Florida, equipping him with deep expertise in financial services and leadership.
