In a series of events aimed at enhancing employee health, wellbeing, and diversity, Grupo EULEN, a leading provider of aviation services, recently collaborated with American Airlines. These initiatives underscored their joint commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment.
Hydration Awareness Event
On May 15, 2024, Grupo EULEN participated in an exclusive hydration event hosted by American Airlines at Miami Airport. This event highlighted the importance of hydration and employee safety, especially with the impending summer heat. Grupo EULEN, along with seven other companies, provided essential information to approximately 500 to 1,000 airport employees, including those working in ramp, cabin, grooming, GSE, fueling, and baggage handling roles.
Kaarina Rose, Vice President of Human Resources for Grupo EULEN USA, reflected on the event, stating, ” We were pleased to join this initiative with American Airlines, reinforcing our commitment to the health and well-being of our employees. Staying hydrated is crucial for those working in demanding airport roles. Additionally, we are already taking steps and preparing to help our employees cope with the high temperatures expected this summer.”
American Airlines provided a dedicated table for Grupo EULEN to distribute educational materials on hydration, summer preparedness, safety product education, and financial planning tips. This collaboration underscored the strong relationship between the two organizations and their shared dedication to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Diversity and Safety Fair
On May 31, 2024, Grupo EULEN USA participated in the Diversity and Safety Fair at JFK Airport, hosted by American Airlines. The event featured a Parade of Nations, with approximately 200 participants showcasing the cultural diversity of the workforce by dressing in traditional costumes. The fair focused on promoting safety and inclusion, reinforcing the importance of these values in the workplace.
In collaboration with notable companies such as Envoy, Airways, Caribbean Business Resource Group, British Airways, Grainger, GSAP, AA Credit Union, Black Professional Network, and Premise Health, Grupo EULEN USA helped create a platform to celebrate diversity and foster an inclusive workplace. The event benefitted around 500 airport employees.
Kaarina Rose, emphasized, “Grupo EULEN fosters an inclusive corporate culture committed to diversity as a driver of growth in our society and economy, putting people at the center. Our workforce is represented by various diversities: gender, generational, functional, and cultural. With 57% women and 64% of employees under the age of 30 or over 50, we demonstrate our commitment to providing employment opportunities to those who face the most significant challenges accessing the labor market.”
“Our participation in this event underscores our commitment to diversity and inclusion within the community. Our workforce includes 62% Hispanic Latinos, 20% African Americans, and 5% Asians, reflecting our dedication to cultural diversity.” Added Rose.
