Monica Vazquez is the General Manager and Executive Vice President of ABANCA USA.
In addition to her role at ABANCA USA, Monica holds several prestigious positions including President of the Spain-U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Chair of the Florida International Bank Association (FIBA), Founding member of the Women Executive Hispanic Association (WhE), Member of the Council of Residents Abroad (CRE, a body under the Consulate of Spain) and Member of the Board of the Spanish Cultural Center in Miami (CCE).

In 2023, she was named as one of the “TOP 100 Leading Women in Spain”
In March 2024, she was recognized by Miami World Trade Center during the “Women’s International Achievement Awards”
In July 2024, she was by Bisnow at its annual “South Florida Women Leading Real Estate”
In June 2025, she received the Officer’s Cross of the Order of Civil Merit, an award from the Spanish government.
In February 2026, she was honored with the Influential Business Women Award from South Florida Business Journal.
Monica is also a valued member of the Harvard Business Research Advisory Board.
