The Spain-U.S. Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Spain in Miami and with the participation of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), Mahou, and Iberia, organized the Official Welcome for Real Madrid C.F. in the United States, on the occasion of their participation in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025.
The event, held at Miami Dade College, featured the participation of Miami- Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava; Miami Dade College President Madeline Pumariega; the Consul General of Spain, Jaime Lacadena; and the President of the Chamber, Mónica Vázquez. The RFEF was represented by its president, Rafael Louzán, accompanied by Emilio García Silvero from FIFA. Representing Real Madrid, José Ángel Sánchez and Emilio Butragueño both spoke, highlighting the club’s strong connection with its U.S. fan base.
This institutional event strengthened Miami’s role as a global football platform and demonstrated Spain’s commitment to international outreach through sport.
