The Spain-US Chamber of Commerce participated as an institutional partner in the event “Madrid: A Gateway to European Knowledge and Talent,” held on June 23 at the Wolfson Campus of Miami Dade College as part of the official visit of President Isabel Díaz Ayuso to the United States.
This event was part of a strategic agenda focused on positioning Madrid as a global hub of knowledge, talent, and innovation, bringing together representatives from academic institutions and authorities from both countries.
One of the highlights of the day was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Spain-US Chamber of Commerce and the Community of Madrid. The agreement, signed by Mónica Vázquez, President of the Chamber, and Emilio Viciana Duro, Minister of Education, Science, and Universities, aims to attract international students, foster academic and scientific cooperation, and increase the global visibility of Madrid’s universities. The visit concluded in New York with the presentation of Madrid’s new global strategy to attract foreign investment, further positioning the region as a gateway to Europe for U.S. companies.
