Eduardo’s professional experience spans over 25 years providing leadership in construction, Public Private Partnerships (P3), real estate and asset management. His leadership, attention to detail, proactive and communicative approach, and expertise have been key factors for the success of the projects, divisions, and companies that he has managed. Throughout his career, Eduardo has been heavily involved in numerous multibillion-dollar projects across the globe taking high responsibility roles within the company.

Mr. De Lara holds a bachelor’s double degree in Finance and Management and has a MBA’s double degree in Finance and International Business, both from the University of Miami. He has a Master’s degree in Urban Law and Planning from Instituto de Estudios Cajasol.

Eduardo joined Sacyr in 2004 and initially worked for Vallehermoso, Sacyr’s Real Estate division, where he held several positions all the way up to Managing Director for Catalunya and the Balearic islands, then took some roles in Head Quarters such as Divesting Director for Sacyr S.A and Corporate Development Director for Sacyr Concesiones S.L. (P3 division) until 2016 when he moved to the US to lead the disembarkment of the Group’s arms for Construction and Concessions (P3). In 2018, Eduardo was appointed Country Manager for Sacyr Infrastructure USA. Under his leadership the company has entered in the construction sector in Florida and Texas and has achieved the first Private Public Partnership (P3) project in the United States with a total backlog in excess of usd2bn

In addition, he has been a member and president of numerous boards, such as Tricefalo S.A. (Adif-Vallehermoso JV), Camarate Golf (Iberdrola, Acciona, BBVA y Sacyr JV) and ESADE to mention a few. In USA he is a Board Member for the (AIAI Transportation) Performance Based Building Coalition, Advocating for Public Private Partnership Construction and a member of the AIAI (Association for the Improvement of American Infrastructure) and Spain – USA Chamber of Commerce. Finally, Eduardo is a Board member in the following P3’s: University of Idaho, Calcasieu Bridge I-10 in Louisiana, Grand View Hospital in Canada, and Hospital Tlahuac and Autopistas Piramides both in Mexico

Mr. De Lara has extensive international experience in the delivery of construction and P3 projects and has been involved in infrastructure projects and businesses in North America, Europe and Latin America.
