Alfredo Escudero currently serves as EVP of Extended Markets and Country Manager of Telefonica USA, leading the commercialization of services from Telefonica to US, European and Asian Multinationals. During his more than 25-year career at Telefonica, Mr. Escudero has occupied various management positions in Sales, Engineering and Business Development, being one of the first members to join Telefonica in the USA in 2000. Mr. Escudero has led diverse teams of professionals to success in a variety of highly competitive industries and geographies and has a proven track record in the execution of large complex deals across different markets, always coordinating multi-cultural and multi-geographical teams.
Prior to Telefonica, he worked in other highly respected Multinationals such as British Telecom, ABB and the Tetra Pak Group. He also proudly serves as Member of the Board of Directors of the Spain-US Chamber of Commerce in Miami since 2019.
Mr. Escudero is native of Spain and earned an Executive MBA by Instituto de Empresa in Madrid in 1998, and a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering from Pontificia Comillas University (ICAI, 1993).
