The Americas Food & Beverage Show 2024, one of the largest international trade events in the Western Hemisphere, provided the ideal platform for the Spain-US Chamber of Commerce to reaffirm its role in supporting and connecting Spanish companies with the North American, Caribbean and LATAM market. During the event, held from September 16-18 in Miami, the Chamber organized a Spanish pavilion where the diversity and quality of Spanish gastronomy were showcased by 51 participating companies.
From the outset, the Spain US Chamber of Commerce played an active role in organizing a space that not only allowed companies to showcase their products but also to create business opportunities. The Spanish pavilion stood out among attendees, attracting distributors, buyers, and potential partners interested in Spanish food offerings. With the participation of 14 wineries and 37 food companies, the Spanish representation featured traditional and innovative products, such as wines, oils, seafood, croquettes, preserves, chocolates and cheeses, offering a comprehensive experience of Spain’s flavor and quality.

The Americas Food & Beverage Show & Conference represents a significant milestone in the food and beverage industry calendar. The 2024 edition marks an unprecedented collaboration between the World Trade Center Miami and Informa Markets LATAM, creating a strategic synergy through co-located events [1]. The show’s impressive scale is evident in its most recent statistics, hosting 653 exhibitors and attracting 7,300 attendees from 93 countries [1].

This year’s show featured an expanded exhibition space, accommodating over 800 exhibitors and welcoming more than 10,000 attendees [4], demonstrating significant growth from previous years.
Spanish Pavilion Highlights
Among the most outstanding booths in the Spanish Pavilion was the presence of the Junta de Castilla y León, which participated with products such as wines, potato chips, cookies, goat cheese, hams, sausages and honey. The Almeria Chamber of Commerce also presented 8 companies focused on oils, organic jams, wines, high quality preserves and honey. Goya España participated with its renowned range of premium oils and extend olives variety. In addition, the Galician delegation was represented by outstanding companies that showcased the quality of their gastronomic offerings, including breads, fresh and fruity Albariño wines, as well as canned fish and seafood, reflecting the tradition and excellence of the Galician food sector. Andalusia also stood out with the presentation of its prestigious extra virgin olive oils, considered some of the best in the world, its Iberian hams and tomato sauces, internationally recognized for their unique flavor and texture.
In addition to the exhibitions, an opening ceremony was held in the presence of the fair’s organizers Ivan Barrios, together with Monica Vazquez, President of the Chamber, and Juan Carlos Pereira, Executive Director.
