Friends Of Spain Awards Ceremony

On September 11, 2025, one of the most important events in our institutional and business calendar will take place: the Friends of Spain Awards Ceremony, jointly organized by the Leading Brands of Spain Forum (Foro de Marcas Renombradas Españolas – FMRE) and the Spain-US Chamber of Commerce.

 

This high-profile international event will bring together in Miami authorities, business leaders, iconic brands, and media outlets to honor individuals, companies, and institutions that have made a significant contribution to strengthening Spain’s image and presence in the United States.

What's the Leading Brands of Spain Forum

This foundation brings together more than 150 of Spain’s leading companies across various sectors, whose combined turnover amounts to 30.1% of Spain’s GDP. This underscores its strategic weight and key role in promoting Spain’s image abroad. Its Honorary President is His Majesty King Felipe VI.

This initiative has already achieved remarkable success in cities such as Shanghai, Moscow, London, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Dubai, Mexico City, Brussels, Paris, Houston, and New York.

Now, for the first time, this distinguished ceremony arrives in Miami, bringing together prominent Spanish companies, their ambassadors abroad, and leading institutional and business authorities.

The event will be presided over by the Ambassador of Spain to the United States, Ángeles Moreno Bau, along with 

some of the most influential companies in the Spanish business landscape.

Friends Of Spain Awards

It is a public recognition granted to individuals, companies, or institutions that, within their respective professional fields, have stood out for their connection to or support of Spain in the United States. This distinction honors their role in promoting and strengthening Spain’s image and
presence abroad.

Friends Of Spanish Brands

It is awarded to individuals or U.S. companies that have contributed to the visibility, growth, or successful entry of a Spanish brand into the U.S. market. The honorees are nominated directly by Spanish companies as a way to acknowledge their strategic collaboration and support in the brand’s expansion.
